What’s in my bag?

People are always wanting to know what’s in my bag. Other photographers, clients, or guests at a wedding. So, here it is, let me know if you have any questions or comments……

The Nikon D3, I love this camera!! I always carry three D3′s. I also like the new D700 for a smaller lighter weight back up camera, I usually have a d700 in my bag as well.

SB-900 An absolute must have!!! We carry six of these at all times for multiple lighting set ups.

SU-800 controller for the SB-900

Nikkor 50mm 1.8

I use this lens a lot. It’s perfect for almost every situation.  Great for detail shots!!

AF-DC-NIKKOR-105mm-f-2D

I really like using fixed focal length lenses. This is a great one, very crisp, nice detail.

AF-S-Zoom-NIKKOR-17-35mm-f-2_8D-IF-ED

This is the newest addition to my lens collection. I am really happy with it. My new favorite lens.

If you need to get up close in low light this is a great lens.

And to fill in the gap between the top two lenses.  Probably my most used lens.

AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED

For the ever important details that help tell the story so beautifully.

Radio Slaves to control off camera flash times six

Also for radio slaves…

Scott Robert Triggers…my friend and mentor.  Awesome triggers, small, light, and inexpensive!!

That’s the basics of what I have with me at every shoot I do.

I have other gear, other lenses, lots of different bags to carry all the stuff  I have collected over the years.  I usually carry reflectors, and GoBo’s depending on my mood or the situation.  The things listed here are the things I use most – like most – can’t live without:-)

Cheers!!
