Well actually they already had a beautiful bouncing baby boy….James.  I’m am just a little behind on my blog posts.  One of my favorite things is to do is continue my relationship with my wedding clients by photographing the milestones of their lives, and their friends lives.  I think it might just be the most rewarding part of our job.  We get to watch, and document so many of the biggest moments in peoples lives…people who often become much more than clients to us.  Bill and Kara have been amazing clients, and great friends.  We could not have been happier when we heard that they were having a baby!!

Ali and I photographed their wedding in Santorini, Greece in 2009 and since then we have also photographed Bill’s cousin Amy and Shane’s wedding, and Jackie and Duke’s wedding in Huntington Beach, and recently we photographed Jimmy and Renee’s engagement session they will be getting married this fall in Cincinnati, OH!!   We met everyone while we were in Greece, and it has been such an incredible journey for us getting to know everyone!!  WOW!!

If ever two people were meant for each other Peter and Barbara are!  What an amazing couple…in LOVE!!  Their wedding day was beautiful, unique, fun, elegant, and amazing all wrapped up in a pretty little package.  Everything about the day had an extra little personal touch of creativity and everyone was made to feel right at home.  It was a perfect day!  Be sure to check out the slideshow!!

Ali and I first met Amy while we were in Greece to photograph her cousin Bill’s wedding and we were so excited when she contacted us to photograph her BIG day!  We completely fell in love with this family during our time in Greece so we really could not have been happier to get the chance to work with them again.  We met up with Amy and Shane a few months ago to photograph their Engagement Session and fell right in love with them as a couple.

Wedding day arrived and it could not have been more perfect!  The day began at a quaint, lovely little farmhouse just outside of Hansville, the Milky Way Farm where the wedding party and some of the family had gathered.  It was people everywhere, hustle bustle, nervous anticipation, a bit of laughter and a few tears of joy.  It was the perfect start to an amazing day.  Next stop…Aunt Suzie’s house to get married!!  The wedding was sunny, warm, happy, tears, and laughter.  Two people who are truly in LOVE got married!!  Two families became one.  The party was GREAT, food, smiles, sunshine, drinks, music, sunset, dancing, and love was in the air.  It was another perfect day with an absolutely incredible family.

Ali and I first met Jackie in Greece.  We were there to photograph Kara and Bill’s amazing wedding day and Jackie was a guest.  We were so honored when Jackie contacted us to photograph her, and Duke’s BIG day!  They also invited us to stay with them for a few days at their beautiful vacation home on Oahu, Hawaii to photograph their engagement session.  The first time we met Duke was actually in his kitchen as he was cooking us dinner.  Ali and I were immediately made to feel right at home.  Jackie and Duke just have an easy going relaxed way about them, not only with the people around them but also with each other.  They have a simple, but true love that is a beautiful thing to see.  Jackie and Duke are incredible people as individuals and as a couple they are just out of this world!  We have had a fantastic experience getting to know them!

The BIG day took place at the Hyatt on Huntington Beach and it could not have been more perfect!  Every last detail was thought out, and every moment was planned but in true Jackie and Duke style the day seemed to unfold as if magic, without a care in the world.  Jackie and Duke are a couple who truley love, honor, and cherish one another.  Although there were many brilliant moments throughout the day, many amazing details, incredible food, laughter, and dancing…what stood out the most to about this day was the importance that was put on making every last guest feel right at home, and every last family member feel loved.

I think that pretty much sums it up.  Brendan and Ashley are in LOVE!  A beautiful, passionate, CHRIST CENTERED, fun loving kind of love that is sure to grow and grow.  Ali and I photographed Brendan and Ashley’s BIG day right here in our own back yard of Whidbey Island.  It was a beautiful day, a beautiful ceremony, and a roaring reception….BRILLIANT!  We also photographed Brendan and Ashley’s Engagement Session in the Spokane area.  If you haven’t seen it, be sure to check it out!
